Teoot — Orchestra

Build Music & Compositions Online

Teoot Orchestra is a free online music composition tool. Layer drums, guitar, piano, strings, tabla, synths, and more; tune pitch and waveforms; import spreadsheet or CSV scores; use AI to generate new compositions; play everything in your browser with Web Audio; and download finished sound files as WAV, MP3, or FLAC. No install — build your own music, beats, and ambient scores on teoot.com.

What is Teoot Orchestra?

Teoot Orchestra is a web-based music composition studio. Instead of a traditional timeline DAW, you work with layers: each layer is one instrument or sound playing a frequency pattern over time. Together, layers form a complete piece — from minimal ambient pads to dense multi-instrument scores.

Everything runs in the browser using the Web Audio API, so you can find music ideas, prototype compositions, and export sound files without installing software.

Create your own music and compositions

  • Layer many instruments at once — kick, snare, hi-hat, bass, guitar, piano, violin, flute, organ, tabla, synth pads, and more.
  • Build full compositions with start/end times, waveforms, and per-instrument expression (filters, vibrato, envelopes).
  • Import and export scores via CSV or Excel — share compositions as data or merge new layers into an existing piece.
  • Quick Music presets for genres and moods; AI Composer turns plain-English prompts into valid composition CSV.
  • Play back in real time in the browser; export your mix as WAV, MP3, or FLAC sound files.
  • Free to use — no account required for playback, layering, or file export.

CSV compositions, spreadsheets, and AI

Musicians and developers can treat a composition as structured data. Each CSV row defines one layer: instrument type, pitch, volume envelope, waveform shape, and optional expression fields for realistic timbre. Import from Excel, paste from an AI chatbot, or generate rows with the built-in AI Composer.

This workflow suits generative music experiments, game audio prototypes, teaching sound design, and repeatable scores you can version-control like code.

Export sound files (WAV, MP3, FLAC)

When your mix sounds right, render it to a downloadable audio file. WAV is lossless; MP3 and FLAC are smaller for sharing. Open the Orchestra app and use the export panel after adding or importing layers.

Frequently asked questions

Can I make my own music online with Teoot Orchestra?
Yes. Teoot Orchestra runs in your browser: add instrument layers, set pitch and rhythm, stack parts with timing, and hear your composition immediately. You can start from presets, paste CSV, import Excel, or use the AI Composer.
How do I build a music composition from a spreadsheet or CSV?
Each row in the CSV is one layer (instrument, frequency, volume, timing, waveform). Download the template, fill rows in Excel or Google Sheets, then paste or upload into Orchestra. Use Load to replace layers or Add to append.
Can I export my composition as a sound file?
Yes. After building layers, use Export to render WAV, MP3, or FLAC audio files from your current mix — useful for sharing, video soundtracks, or further editing in a DAW.
Does Teoot Orchestra use AI to write music?
The built-in AI Composer generates composition CSV from a text description (mood, instruments, tempo). You can also copy a prompt for ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini and paste the returned CSV into the app.
What instruments and sounds are supported?
Built-in models include percussion (kick, snare, hi-hat, ride, shaker), bass and guitar, piano, strings, winds, organ, synth pad, sitar, tanpura, tabla strokes, marimba, and simple tones — each with timbre and expression controls.
